RWANDA

Hi Folks - this will be a good space to share the news of the Rwanda Trip. We meet each week and discuss the plans.

I will atempt to provide a weekly update so that you can share the experience as we plan and stress about the fundraising etc.

At present the lads are planning a canoe trip , I am undertaking the awful task of losing weight and Glen is in training for his Triathalon!!! Douglas is planning on taking folks up mountains and hopefuly bringing them back down again and Crawford is looking out all his old reciepes so that he can get his curry nights underway.

I have included a lovely picture of the team and also one of Kigali in Rwanda as a taster. I have only photographed the young folks as i dont want to scare any potential blog spot viewers.

Weekend away at Arbroath

We are heading to Arbroath this afternoon 1/2/08 and we are looking forward to a wonderful weekend packed with good teaching, good company and good food.

Fizz & Food at the ORR's

Hi advance warning of fome fun at the Orr's home. Fizz and Food will be on 5th October instead of 12th as we are going to powerpoint on the 12th. I have a few new games to introduce you to so come and join us.

Fantastic fun was had by all who were there. Thanks for coming along and make sure you come to the next one and bring a friend along. Let me know what you liked about it and any other things you would like to have included in the evening.

YF evening at the Rounds house

Either make your own way there or meet us at Union road at 6.45pm saturday 28th. Bring your cossie if you want to get into the hot tub. Be prepared for some singing and giving thanks to God for all he does for us.

That was a great evening of celebration - well done to Kenneth for giving such a clear message. Here is a photo of the event as a memory.

XChange

The first ever Xchange at Union Road is on tonight Friday 21st September. Please come along if you are p7-S2ish and have some fun with the Wi and Singstar and enjoy some banter. We will have a messy quiz and some group games but it just wont be the same without you!!!

Praise in the park

Thanks to those who came along - all your hard work looking after the bouncy castle and handing out water didn't take away from the fun day out. would have liked to see you all on stage agin though. Ta much for coming along.

Powerpoint

Hi folks, Powerpoint returns! The first session of the new term and it is a brill one to strt with. Luis Palau is visiting Scotland and will be speaking at powerpoint.
we are meeting as usual at Union Road 6.30pm for a promt dept at 6.45. We will be returning late so warn the folks, we will drop you home. If you have never been before this is a good opportunity to come along.

Update

Hi folks its a long time since i have put anything on this site and a lot of vey exciting things have been happening over the holidays. Lots of you were at SU Camp and had a lot of fun and also a chance to grow in your faith. Soul survivor was pretty special as well and 'most' people who journey'd to shepton mallet had a 'braw' time even although the weather was poor. Holiday club was fantastic this year and the youth helpers worker hard. Here are some photos to remember the holidays.
